| The Philippe Quint Quintet |
 |
Philippe Quint has emerged as one of a few young soloists to combine a remarkable degree of lyricism, poetry and impeccable virtuosity. The Chicago Tribune proclaimed: "Here is a fiddle virtuoso whose many awards are fully justified by the brilliance of his playing". The Quint Quintet is a diverse composite of virtuosic players, was recently organized by Quint to explore and promote the works of Astor Piazzolla and Argentine tango. "A legend in the making," was another critic's prediction, while "flawless," "dazzling," "extraordinary", and "astonishing" are only a few additional adjectives awarded by the press. |
